The 1988 four-day beachcombers' extravaganza took place October 15-18,
at the Community Center at 509 Ocean Avenue, Melbourne Beach, Florida.
This was the 3rd Annual Sea-bean Symposium. Admission was FREE.

The keynote speaker was Dr. Stephen Leatherman ("Dr. Beach"), author of America's Best Beaches, and Director of the International Hurricane Center at Florida International University in Miami. Many other authors, naturalists, artists and scientists were on-hand to help beachcombers identify their treasures. |
