...How to contact "seabean"

To contact me in association with this website, use the following address:

You must manually type this address into your "To" section of your outgoing email.
I no longer provide email "links" to that address within this website.
I apologize for this inconvenience.

I use email spam filters, software, etc. to automatically trap-n-trash spam email.
I also auto-trash any/all mail from domains known to support spam email.
Thus, if your ISP supports/tolerates spam, I won't get your email!

If this approach inadvertently processes one of your emails to me, I'll never see it and never respond to it. Sorry! If you email me with a seabean-related issue, and I don't respond in a reasonably appropriate time, please re-send the email with a changed subject line, omitting a term that may have been interpreted as non-seabean matter.

Why I Must Do This
Email has been an ever increasing problem due to email spam (junk email). The process of handling nearly 200 junk "spam" emails a day is presently overwhelming and it is getting worse.

Spammers use internet search engines, to find and examine websites, looking for ("harvesting") email addresses. These addresses are then extracted, compiled into massive lists and used for their own purposes and/or sold to other spammers looking for addresses. Thus, in an attempt to diminish spam email, I no longer embed my email address in the standard text format that search engines look for; it is thus altered (as a non-linked picture!) above, causing you the inconvenience of having to manually type the address rather than simply click on an email link.

If others with email addresses embedded in this website would like their contact info altered as well, please let me know.

How you can help
I never respond to spam email. I do encourage others, who feel the same way about spam email, to do likewise. It is the very few people that respond to spammers (even once!) that cause this flood of junk email to continue to be profitable to those who generate it while costing many of us money and, more importantly, a lot of time. If no one responds to spam, ever!, they'll stop.

The only other recourse is the law.
Contact your representatives and encourage them to stop (or at least control)
email spammers.
